Adventure Ride 2007

On the morning of October 14th, six riders were ready for an adventurous ride. View the route here.

We left Santa Rosa BMW at about quarter after 9. We proceeded East on Mark West Springs Road. The sun began to break through the clouds and light up the vineyards. The back roads were free of traffic. We climbed up Ida Clayton Road. Here are some views from that road:

A break was taken at Ida Clayton Road. A nice vineyard could be seen from the climb.

Eventually Ida Clayton Road turned to Western Mines Road. Here are some views from the change:

From Western Mines Road we proceeded North towards Middletown, made a wrong turn off the Dry Creek Cutoff. We stopped in Lakeport for lunch and ready for the ride over the dirt road over Cow Mountain Recreation Area. We stop for a little road side maintenance.

After coming out of Cow Mountain, we proceed South on Old River Road towards Hopland. Crossing Highway 101 at Hopland we proceeded up Mountain House Road to Highway 128 to Cloverdale and headed down the back roads towards Windsor. About 200 miles of adventure riding.
